Ranch Seasoning can be substituted with scratch seasonings below

 1 cup buttermilk, well chilled
 ½ cup Duke's Mayonnaise
 ½ cup creme fraiche
 2 tbsp Ranch Seasoning (large container from Sam's Club)
 1 tbsp freeze-dried chives
 2 tsp Bayou Sam's Triple Blast
 2 tsp Maille Dijon mustard
 3 strips Wright Applewood Smoke Bacon, drained, cooled, crumbled with pulsed to fine.
Scratch Ranch Seasonings
 2 tsp dried minced garlic
 2 tsp dried parsley
 1 tsp onion powder
 1 tsp dried oregano
 1 tsp dried thyme
 ½ tsp white pepper
 ½ tsp sumac
 ½ tsp dill weed
Make your own Creme Fraiche, you'll never use sour cream again.

Sanitized glass sealable container
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon buttermilk
Add cream to container, gently stir in buttermilk, loosely close lid, cover with a towel in a warm part of your kitchen for 18
hours.
Open and stir gently. If it's firmed up, seal and refrigerate 2-4 hours before using.
1 1/2 tablespoons of buttermilk will yield a much thicker end product.

Dressing

Like your recipe depended on it, whisk buttermilk through mustard until well combined, let stand 10 minutes and whisk again.

Place in sealable container and chill at least 2 hours.

Add bacon just before serving or prepping salad. OR serve on the side.
